Taro Vilage


Taro Village

Taro village is about 45 km from Kuta. In this village there are jungle village in the occupied by a group of white oxen. The animal was sacred by local people. These animals usually become complementary tools ceremony in Bali. As a Complement, a white bull was taken to a place of ceremony and guided by the organizer of the ceremony in the area surrounding the ceremony from start to south east direction and three times onwards. This ceremony is called "mapepada" or "prototype daksina". After the ceremony is completed, the white bull in the back again into the jungle village of Taro, having served a variety of offerings.

Also this village there is a new tourist attraction, the "elephant trekking" Here you can ride elephants through the forest around the trail around the village of Taro. If not, you can direct you to ride the elephants into the swimming pool.
